Animals in the snow

In this weather it is even more important to look after each other. When you think of the people who may need help in the snow consider the elderly but also consider your animals and those animals that may not have the best care who you could help out. Make sure your dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, horses, ferrets and any other animals you may have responsibility for have somewhere warm to go to and enough food to keep them going over this cold spell. The snow in some areas of the country is at about seven foot so if you’re having trouble getting around think of the animals that are smaller than you who don’t have the use of a car!
