As a pet owner, you no doubt want to give your pets all the treats they deserve. However, buying up of all the latest pet accessories can be expensive, so you need to find a way to come up with the extra cash.

One thing you could try is online bingo, a game which many people have taken up as a way of getting a bit more spending money. At small cost to yourself (some sites offer penny bingo or even free bingo games), you can play alongside like-minded people to win cash and other prizes.

You could pick up a tenner here and there or you could win the jackpot and take home thousands of pounds in cold, hard cash! With these kinds of online bingo winnings, you could buy anything and everything for your pets, from a new kennel for your dog or a brand new collar for your cat to a multi-level hamster cage or a brand new aquarium for your fish.

Whilst this new stuff can’t ever replace the love and care you give to your pets, it will most definitely be appreciated!

Start your bingo adventure at mecca bingo, a great site for newcomers to the game.

Whilst out walking my dogs I have found that there are certain types of dog owners, the ones that happily walk along and let there dogs meet other dogs to smell and play and the ones that at the first sign of barking (dogs do this to communicate) pick their dogs up immediately as if they were a child!

These people quite frankly should not have a dog as they simply don’t understand how to handle dogs, dogs are not meant to be picked up at any time.

As for everything else in the world there are arguments for and against certain things, how about this one:

Canine or Feline??

Dogs:

Perfect companions and loyal to the death, dogs genuinely love you and will protect you as one of their own pack. On the downside (and this is if you are very lazy or just don’t have the time) dogs need exercising daily no matter how small (even the ones you can fit in your bags).

Cats:

Cuddly playful little animals, let themselves out and in again! you hardly even notice they’re there. On the downside some cats like to kill other animals and bring them to you as a present. As you aren’t with your cats when they venture out it can be quite distressing when they don’t come home.

In this weather it is even more important to look after each other. When you think of the people who may need help in the snow consider the elderly but also consider your animals and those animals that may not have the best care who you could help out. Make sure your dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, horses, ferrets and any other animals you may have responsibility for have somewhere warm to go to and enough food to keep them going over this cold spell. The snow in some areas of the country is at about seven foot so if you’re having trouble getting around think of the animals that are smaller than you who don’t have the use of a car!

My housemate wants a micro pig. My housemate also wants to dress this micro pig up in different outfits and carry it around like Paris Hilton carries around her little Chihuahua dogs. This is very strange to me, surely pigs are smelly dirty animals that are happiest when rolling around in vats of mud and being noisy. Our house is a very clean house where the only noise made is that of Whitney Houston blasting out some tunes on a Saturday night to help us get ready for a night out. I will not react well if i’m woken up by the noise of trotters on the kitchen floor and snorting as it raids the kitchen bin. She’s not allowed to get one!

Over the past few months my friend has been quite quiet about his relationship with his girlfriend, to the point we were actually a little worried that he wasn’t as happy as he used to be! About a month ago however he told us that they have got a cat together! Since then he’s been showing us pictures and videos of this cat chasing bits of string and climbing up the curtains. Following this, he has just announced that he proposed to her and she has accepted and now they are getting married! It seems the quietness was because he was nervous she would say no! They are nesting and getting the cat was a real show of commitment together. Some people really do see pets as part of the family, as it should be!!

We’re coming up to Christmas now as i’m sure you are aware and I am thankful that we do not have an office pet. The reason for this is because I know that cats especially have hours of fun tearing down beautiful decorations and even whole Christmas trees. A friend has also told me that a few years ago her dog got hold of a piece of tinsel from the tree and decided to take it for a walk; bringing the whole six foot tree to the ground. Today my colleague who site opposite and I have put up our miniature Christmas tree and are safe in the knowledge it will be staying where it is, unless the office scrooge decides it’s too early for Christmas that is!
