A parrot which escaped from a cage in his owners back garden, has been rescued from the lion enclosure at Warminster Safari park, Longleat. The African Grey Parrot, which is nine years old was rescued by the keepers at the park after it had spent three days in the wild. A parrot expert was called in, and a resident female parrot was used to try and temp the parrot from the fence, unfortunately their attempts failed and they had to resort to using a large ensure the parrot was moved to safety.
